Hello, my name is Kathy and I am an addict. I am addicted to Pinterest http://pinterest.com. There are 12-step programs for other addictions, but I haven't found one for this, so I am starting my own therapy. Instead of "pinning" for hours at a time, I have decided to challenge myself, my friends, my family, to start "using" some of these pins. My youngest daughter actually used some recipes she pinned this week, and made a "bow" in my granddaughter's hair from a "pin". My dear friend and I were talking and "pinning" today when she got annoyed with herself saying, I've got to stop pinning and start making.
So, I'm addressing this to my buddies on Pinterest, but anyone is welcome to contribute. Once a week, let's see what we have done with our pins. I plan to print a few images and frame them, I have the ingredients for at least 2 recipes, and there are several "Products I love" that I may purchase this week. I will add them to my board - "Pinterest-ed" and blog the results here. If you are in, I will add you as a contributor to the board and let's see where this takes us, shall we? It would be awesome to get 100 pins in the first two weeks.
Hi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI have avoided Pinterest at all cost. I am just mortified to have yet another addiction. I have a three year that I could pin about all day and all day. I think it is such a fabulous idea. Look at those adorable angels you have there. My goodness. See I need to get my habit forming issues under control...then I may join you. :-)
